Last Minute Trip...Restaurant Reservations

Quick question...any favorite go to restaurants that usually have availability when planning a last minute trip...I'm about 6 weeks out at this point...Thanks!

Captain's Grille - for a recent breakfast, I booked it as we were driving on I4 about 20 minutes away from YC
Tokyo Dining - there are lunch specials until 4:00p

Also, Big River Grill and the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk don't take reservations, so you can always walk up to those two places.

Keep checking if you can. I planned an Easter week trip 3 weeks out and we got all our must haves by checking often the 2 weeks prior. For our recent Oct trip, I snagged a few ressies while we were standing in line (BOG breakfast, CP breakfast, Sci-Fi lunch) and could have snagged BOG dinner, CRT breakfast and Chef Mickey's dinner if I had wanted them.

I second this motion. I've snagged some "must have" reservations the day before we were planning on eating at a certain location (in this case, it was BOG). I think it's just a matter of checking often and being patient. Good luck!

Me too, LOL! I usually don't do a park on arrival day, but am making an exception this time. The weather better cooperate and not delay my flight, LOL!

All of the above recommendations are very good. I would also add Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot and Kona Cafe at the Poly. Keep checking for ADRs for some of your favs. Last minute spots do open up.

San Angel Inn - Very unique tmosphere and very good traditional Mexican fare for 1 credit, some of the best drinks on property.
Via Napoli - Lively, loud and fun atmosphere for any pizza fans.
Narcoossee's or Artist Point - 2TS excellent meals.

Since you have CP Package for Neil Patrick Harris everything else is icing on the cake. Enjoy the trip. We have made several last minute trips and were very lucky with reservations. Just keep calling and be flexible.

We'll be there a few days before you, and I just booked this morning (though I did set up a couple of reservations in the past couple of days). I was able to get BOG lunch (though this was a random occurrence), Coral Reef, Chefs de France, 50's Prime Time Cafe, and Raglan Road (we originally had a ressie for Fulton's, but decided to go to RR instead). I'm stalking the reservation page hoping to get a Fantasmic package.

I haven't been there, but there seems to be plenty of availability for The Plaza, and I've only heard good things about it.

You might want to consider TS lunches. We always eat our TS at lunchtime, and never had a problem. I ate lunch at Sanaa yesterday, having made an ADR just the night beforehand.

I'm about 5 days out and I've found that majority of the ADRs I wanted and couldn't get at the 180 day mark are becoming available. All except the elusive 'Ohana dinner.

I got a garden grill breakfast reservation less than 6 weeks out. I figured since it was new it would be harder to get but maybe most people don't know about it yet (there were also some lunch ressies available).

Breakfast at Garden Grill is a great idea...always loved their lunch and dinner!
