Last minute trip, need some help.

Today the thought of going to WDW pop up. Sooo now I need to figure out when to go. Yes, its a last minute trip. But the person who suggsted it, really dosen't know any better. It all depends on the prices I can get on a room and tickets, if we really go.

When do you think is the best time:

Choice 1: Dec 11 to Dec 16
Choice 2: Dec 18 to Dec 23 (Kinda' leaning toward this week.)
Choice 3: Dec 25 to Dec 30

It has been a while since I have been at this time, but the last time I was there; the week before Christmas was pretty dead. Has anyone ever been the week of or the week after Christmas? How where the crowds. Another thing I would like to think about are deals (codes) on rooms or packages. Has anyone seen any for any of those days?

The closer you get to Christmas, the thicker the crowds get. Its not empty before Christmas like it used to be but its still a great time to go. I would not go Dec 25 to Dec 30 ... it will be flat out wall to wall packed.

O.K. thanks. So this means that I will not be looking into Dec 25 to 30. So how crowded am I looking at that week of Christmas, 18th to the 23rd? Not like hour long waits for rides, right? iguess we are all thinking that the 11th to the 16th would be the slower time?

The week of the 25th-30th is the busiest week of the year usually at WDW. Also, you'd be hard pressed to find any good deals that week either.

I'd go with the 11th-16th. The other week is still too close for any good deals.
