Last minute trip..?? MVMCP

Hi all

We are planning a family trip to Florida. We are driving down and have told the kids that if we pass through Orlando at a decent hour (we are going to Marco Island) we will stop in for a quick visit. We are not making any arrangements- just going to wing it-

If we arrive Nov 17, what do you think our odds will be for getting tickets to MVMCP? Are hotels accomodating to "walk in" guests?

Thanks for your help! We will be celebrating my DH's end of a 15 month deployment!

I don't think MVMCP would be very likely to sell out November 17th. I don't know the answer to your other question.

I've known folks who have gotten reservations from the car as they've driven to Disney. Don't count on any discounts, though. You may also need to be flexible with your hotel choice, but chances are, they'll have a room available somewhere on Disney property for one night.
