Last Minute Trip Help!

We decided to do a last minute weekend trip to Disneyland. We will leave tomorrow evening after work and drive from Utah to Cali. We were lucky enough to book a lunch at Big Thunder BBQ for Saturday. We will be there all day Saturday and part of Sunday before driving back to Utah. All local hotels are going to be too expensive for our last minute budget. Where do you guys stay that's a little far away but at a good price. Les than $100/night.
Also any good breakfast places around there since we couldn't book much dining time there. Any advice would be helpful .

This is going to be tough..I just checked my go to budget places - Super 8 on Katella , Disneyland Drive and even Cypress/Buena Park and all are either sold out or over 100/night. This might just be a busy weekend so you may need to up your budget and get what you can. You could check Hotel Tonight , Expedia , Orbitz and Priceline though.

Where do you guys stay that's a little far away but at a good price. Les than $100/night.

I'm quite used to driving to Disneyland from places 60-90 minutes away, and don't mind it much. Your personal threshold for "a little far away" may vary from mine though. Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Corona, about 40 minutes away from DLR when traffic is light. It worked out great for us. It was right next to a Coco's Bakery that was nice for a meal one night, and would likely have good breakfast as well.

A Google search now shows rooms for about $95/night at that Holiday Inn Express, with other Corona-area hotels about that amount and some even less.

Last week we stayed at the Homewood Suites in Rancho Cucamonga, north of Ontario, as our stopping point on the way to Disneyland. We liked the convenience of that too. We used points, so I'm not sure how much that would be per night. There may be other, more affordable options along that stretch of I-15 as well. We've also stayed in hotels further north on I-15 in Victorville or Barstow on our way to previous trips to Disneyland. Those are far enough away to be able to find really low rates, but still close enough to be able to get to the parks early in the morning if you are willing to get up a bit earlier.

So there are certainly options. I personally recommend Corona for your situation.

Motel 6 Anaheim is coming up at $91 for Saturday night. It's about a 15 minute walk. We stayed there in February. Nothing fancy, but you don't expect it with a motel 6.
