Disneyland hotel has 2 queen beds with a single sofa bed but they will also give you a free rollaway. We put it in front of the window parallel to the queen beds and still seemed to have plenty of room. PP has the same 2Q+single sofa but will NOT let you have a rollaway because the room is smaller and won't fit one.
DLH is under construction but others say it has not really bothered them so it is a toss up but if you would be open to stay right across the entrance to DL on Harbor, there are lots of options for larger rooms that are closer to walk to than the disney hotels (and cheaper too!) Staying on property is not a necessity like at WDW since it is so compact at DL.
The ones right across the street include:
Best Western Park Place Inn
http://www.parkplaceinnandminisuites.com/
mini suite has 2Q and pull out sofa bed. (microwave and minifridge-closest walk)
Tropicana

Two Room Kitchen Suite has 2 Queens in each bedroom so 4 total and full kitchen, can get a rollaway for a fee
Carousel

View Suite apartment sized 2 Queen Beds, 1 King Bed, Sofa Bed, Dining Room, Refrigerator, Microwave
Park Vue Inn
http://parkvueinn.com/accomodations.htm
has family suites with more beds, maybe 3 Qs and sofa bed and full kitchen suites too
These are just the ones directly across from the cross walk but there are others as you go down the street a bit. I think all of these are closer to walk to than DLH and PP is longer than DLH.
Don't pick a hotel that you have to drive to DL or take the buses because it really eats into your park time!
