Last minute trip...Help with Dining

We are going on a last minute trip in a week so we are not able to get dining reservations. We would like to go to a nice dinner. Any suggestions where? There are 4 adults and 3 kids. What are the chances someone will cancel O'hanna or Cape May Cafe? Should I call every day. Any help would be appriciated

Have you looked for reservations? I'm seeing availability for a party of 7 at Cape May several nights next week.

You shouldn't have any issues finding reservations last minute, esp the day/night before. If you want to dine someplace specific, set up a dining finder (I've had 100% success so far with them!).

I've seen everything pop up at the last minute - even super popular spots. I always just use the app but I hate talking on the phone

Keep poking the website. Yes, last minute reservations often do become available. Life happens to other people and we benefit

BUT -- have a backup plan. Pick someplace not as popular, that currently has availability, and that your kids will be happy with.
I believe there is a Dining Finder offered by Touring Plans, but I don't know if it's free, or part of their subscription. I've never used it - just the WDW official site and MDE (when it works)

Try for 7 and 8, Disney is weird

Try for next day and day of too. People change plans all the time!

Try even splitting the reservations so its 4 and 3? No clue if they will accommodate pushing tables together but maybe they can make it so you are sitting adjacent to each other?

I have been coming to the Dis boards since 2003 when we planned our first trip. We have had the best time because of all the tips I have gotten here. This time is no different. You all came through again. I went to TouringPlans and they came through today with our desired restaurant. Thank you again to all who helped!
