DH unexpectedly got a few days off and asked me if I'd want to go to Disneyland.... tonight! :scared1: I have a few quick questions though!

1. We just bought 3 day passes in anticipation of a December trip, trying to avoid the price increase last week. We could use those or buy the promotional tickets or upgrade to deluxe annual passes.

2. If I decide to upgrade to AP's, can I do that on day 3? AP's are blocked this Saturday and Sunday, so ???

3. Is it going to be insanely busy? We went on the Friday before Memorial Day a couple years ago, and the afternoon especially got really busy. (It was the first day of Magical and Fantasmic! that year) What can we expect for wait times? Note: we go early since we've got two kids, ages 8 and almost 5.

TIA for the last minute help! I love DH but he doesn't give me much time to plan! :wizard:

Well, I guess it is up to you what you decide. The promotional park hopper tickets are not available at the ticket booth I believe. I am pretty sure you have to buy them before you arrive.

You can upgrade your parkhopper to an AP on a blockout day and still use it. So you can upgrade on Sunday and even if the AP you buy is blocked, you will be able to visit the parks that day.

It is busy, but doable. I was there over Memorial weekend last year and it was also AP previews for Little Mermaid and soft opening for ST. I was able to accomplish everything I wanted to do and more. Mainly by being there early, getting FPs, and taking a little break in the afternoon so I could keep going strong into the evening. Wait times were typical for a busy weekend, 60-90 min for Space, 30-40 for BTMRR, 15-20 for Haunted, etc.

Have fun! :goodvibes

Thanks so much. I think we're not going to go. Once I figured out the cost, I realized that I'd rather put the money to a DCL cruise I've been eying for later this year. Thanks anyways!
