Last Minute Trip....any chance???

My husband and I are thinking of taking a quick trip to WDW for the last weekend in January. I'm sooooo excited at the possibility but not sure what room availability would be?! It seems unlikely to me that there would be anything available for DVC at this late date. Anyone have experience booking at a month out? With MS being closed today all I can do is wonder LOL! But it is fun to plan I know there are rooms available right now at non-DVC resorts

Any thoughts?

We called on a last-weekend-in-January-Friday morning - from our 1 bedroom BCV, and got a 1 bedroom at OKW for that weekend (couldn't stand the thought of going back to *gasp* only a studio )

Now this was at SSR but last summer, late july i think, we were staying off-site and decided that 7 days just was just not enough Disney ( I had done some work while down there) so I called MS and got a one bed room starting the next day.

needless to say all three DDs were thrilled to stay another few days at the happiest place on earth.

Booked in Mid Dec for our first trip as New DVC owners Jan 22-27 at SSR, had no problem and lots of options of resorts to choice from.

We returned on Wed from a 12/17 - 12/21 trip that I booked less than 3 weeks out. There were rooms available at OKW and SSR. Good luck!

We just got a Jan 27th reservation with no problem.
