Last Minute Trip (12/5-12/8) booked best western park place inn...

Hi... I I just booked the best western park place inn for 3 nights.

Any opinions or advice for this hotel. I did a lot of searching and found that a lot people like the proximity of this hotel to the park. Since we will only have sat and sunday in the park, I wanted something close and reasonably priced for such a quick trip....

Also any must do going on in the park right now?

Oh and the trip includes my dad who hasn't been there since I was a child, about 20 years.. so I am hoping he has a lot of fun. I know my husband, brother and I will!!

The location is ideal. I haven't stayed there, but it looks clean and comfortable. I'm sure you'll be happy.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago. It is excellent for walking into the park! You will love that! The hotel was clean and ok for that class. We had a studio room-it wasn't 2 rooms, but was divided by a 1/2wall and had sofa bed on one side and beds on other side. The room was roomy. We didn't care for the hotel restaurant at that time. Most of the restaurants around it are actually pretty overpriced. We preferred to eat at Disneyland over them, except the MCDonalds for the kids! Also, there was a chinese restaurant that had flyers at that time that delivered to the hotel for free-they were pretty good. The holidays are wonderful at the Resort! Don't miss Haunted Mansion Holiday, Small World Holiday, Christmas Parade, Christmas Fireworks, and the new Winnie the Pooh ride at DL and Soarin over CA, Disney Animation, CA Screamin & the Electrical Parade at DCA. We like to eat at Pizza Port in tomorrowland in DL-they have pasta, salads & pizza. We also love the New Orleans area to dine! At DCA we love the chili cheese fries on Hollywood Blvd, the Pizza Mow Mow in Paradise Pier and Taste Pilots Grille.
