Last Minute Travel

Hi all,

We are looking to buy our DL tickets and were checking out our options. We found a very good deal on Last Minute Travel! I have checked here for some reviews and while there are some people recommending them, they are all fairly dated (from what I can tell). Anyone out there use them lately? Reliable? Any info would be great! Thanks!

I just used them this past weekend and posted about it on a recent thread and also in my TR on page 2.

We did have to stop at the ticket booth as I bought our 3 day park hopper tickets from Last Minute Travel. It saved us quite a bit of money as I also bought the Premium Character Dining vouchers. It took the CM 5+ minutes of typing into the computer before she gave us our tickets and vouchers, but definitely fine on a lazy Thursday afternoon. I wouldn't have been happy if it had been a Magic Morning and I lost those precious minutes waiting for tickets!

We bought our tickets on Friday, got the character dining voucher yesterday and the ticket voucher today. (But got confirmation emails right away). Been very happy with them so far.

We used them for both tickets and hotel. You're emailed a voucher that you take to the ticket office. Try to go to the ticket booth the night before to avoid hassles in the morning (there's a booth open at all times when Disneyland is open).

You're welcome. Yes, definitely put the day BEFORE you plan to use the tickets when you fill out your order on the website. I hadn't planned to go into the park Thurs night so I had figured we'd just pick up the tickets then. When we arrived earlier than expected, it was great that we COULD go in.

Does the date that you give them effect the dates the park hopper tickets are valid? If I put the night before as the date, do I have to use that date as one of the 4 days on my 4-day park hopper?

No, you don't have to use that date. I think it's just an indication to Disney when you'll be picking up your ticket, but I'm not sure. We picked our 4 day hoppers on a Tuesday night (we didn't go into the park that night) and used them the rest of the week with no problems.

I am happy to report that we have had a good experience with LMT. We had purchased our parkhoppers thru them but our oldest decided not to come on the trip. I called last Friday and there was no way they could refund only one ticket so they had to cancel the entire order, issue a refund and then we had to re-order. It took till this morning (Wed.) for my refund to be back in my bank account (debit card) and I have now re-purchased the tickets and they sent me the voucher immediately. This time the voucher was incorrect (listed 3 adults, 3 children instead of 4 and 2). I emailed and again they responded immediately with a corrected voucher. I was a bit nervous waiting for the refund, especially since we were down to the wire and leave on Friday but it all worked out.

They really got good prices for tickets, but they only offer up to 5 day hopper. I kind of need 6 day, would it be possible to extend it while in DLR?

I ordered mine on a Friday night (around 7 or 8 PST so clearly well past business hours in Florida) with a little under one week in advance and immediately got a confirmation email. I got the vouchers in the email Saturday morning around 8 or 9 am PST. We then went to DLR on Thursday afternoon to redeem.

I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend LMT to others.

We purchased from them for our Dec 2010 tickets. We had no problem with our voucher or redemption. Afterwards I realized we were charged a foreign transaction fed on our cc. I didn't do anything about it until iread recently on the DIS that another customer was able to get a refund of that foreign transaction fee. So, I just contacted them last week (9 months after our purchase)...and they responded next day and asked for my statement showing the charge (they told me to black out any other info) so I scanned it, blacked out everything but my name and the charge, then sent it to them. They processed a refund and it hit my acct 2days ago. Amazing customer service! I would absolutely use them again, as long as I was willing to wait at the ticket booths for my tickets...

Thank you everyone for the tips and reviews! We purchased them the other night and got our vouchers the next day. We moved up our actual arrival time when ordering since we are actually going to Vegas for 5 days first -- plus we wanted to make sure we got the vouchers well in advance.

OK, this (and comments like it that I've read from other people) have me confused. Do they wait and send you the vouchers shortly before the "arrival" date you tell them? If I ordre now for a trip in November, am I not going to get the vouchers until shortly before our trip?

No, you will get the voucher quickly.
