Last Minute Travel services: Any Opinions

We are leaning towards staying off-site in June 2012. Selecting a hotel in Downtown Disney/Lake Buena Vista. I have seen some good prices on LMT with a car rental. But have never use a discounted travel website before. I either booked with WDW (every trip on-site) or with other vacations I book directly on the hotel's website. I guess my fear is when we arrive the hotel & car rental have no record of reservation or we are put in the most horrible location by the loading area for the garbage. Please tell me it will be OK. I am trying to hold off to book hotel until Jan/Feb for the best price.

I have booked the Hilton Bonnet Creek through LMT w/ no problems. Note that you will see a separate foreign transaction fee show up on your CC because they are not a US company. I believe they are in Israel.
