Last Minute Travel - reliable?

Just called LMT to find out about the pre-paid character dining vouchers. After speaking with LITERALLY 8 people, they finally came back to say I can only purchase the vouchers if I purchase a hotel and parkhoppers from them.
Is this true - I thought I read on a thread that someone just purchased the dining from them.

This might be the thread you are referring to, someone recently posted being able to use them. It does seem like they had problems getting to use them. I personally considered the vouchers, but I didnt think they were worth it vs paying cash at breakfast. It doesnt seem like these people have their act together, so I wouldnt consider them for character meal. Having said that, I used them for park tickets for my visit last week and the savings were bigger and I had no problems cashing in my vouchers.

We just returned from our trip and used LMT for both our park tickets and character dining. We were staying at the Disneyland Hotel and had no problem exchanging the vouchers for tickets and the receipt for dining vouchers at front desk.

Because of the issues I read about with the dining vouchers I opted to just pay the day of our breakfast right at Minnie's, it really wasn't much savings off the cost of the meal anyway. But I did get our park hoppers through there because the savings was significant!
