Last Minute Travel making me wait 2 days - will I get the room?

I just tried to book 1 night at a downtown Orlando hotel. I got a message saying the hotel is sold out at that low rate, but they will work with the hotel to try to get my room and I'll know within 48 hours if I got it or not. Has anyone ever had this happen and NOT gotten the room? I'm just worried because we're going in 3 days so if I don't get the room I'll only have one night to find a new one and I'm sure they'll all be expensive then!

Glad to hear it all worked out! Please give us a report when you get back. I would love to know how it goes at check in. We are scheduled to stay in September so I have a little while to wait. I hope you have a fabulous trip!!
