Any of you out there use last minute travel.com lately? How reliable are their pictures? If the pictures on their website match the actual pictures for the hotel, is it that hotel? There seem to be some really good deals on their site, but I am always a bit cautious because you don't know the name of the hotel until after you book it. I could save $75 a night for the Hilton Bonnet Creek between their website and Hilton's...what do you think?

I've used them before and the prices are indeed pretty good. You might try calling the toll free number and speak to an agent. Tell them you are interested in Hilton Bonnet Creek and let them quote you a price. The price should be the same as the price quoted for the 'mystery hotel' on their website.

I used them to book my MCO airport hotel. Got the room for 62.00. For this particular hotel, the name was provided.

However, when I went to check in, the very sweet clerk informed me that my reservation was for the following night. I confidently brought out my reservation and found . . . she was right! I had booked the room for the wrong night! She suggested I contact LMT. I explained that I wanted them to cancel my reservation for the following night and told the LMT agent that I had made a mistake. Unfortunately, it was within 24 hours and I suffered a 100% penalty. This is clearly stated on my reservation paper - -the mistake was all mine.

The agent did look to see if there were more listings at that same hotel, but their inventory wasn't showing up in his system.

I would use them again without hesitation - I would just double, maybe triple check my date :)

We actually used Travelocity secret rates this time for our two offsite nights. I kept debating which hotel to use and DH and I discussed it and decided to go w the secret rates for a 4 star or better rated hotel. We ended up with Lake Buena Vista Village Resort and Spa for $103/nt. BTW, the charge to our debit card showed up on our statement as lastmunute.com. ;) I'd go for it! When we had fewer family members we did Hotwire.com for a DLR trip and ended up getting a great deal at I think it's the Hilton across the street.

The hotel id for Hilton Bonnet Creek is 1216114. If you click on book it and read the url after clicking part of it should read hotel id 1216114. I have used this several times and it has always been accurate but YMMV.

If you google last minute travel there is a way to find out the hotel id for each so you can predict which hotel you get.

agree its a reliable site

the only caution i would give is you can sometimes end up in an inappropriate room

last time i used them i ended up with a room with a window looking out to a hallway!

but that would be the rare occasion
