Ok so we are t minus 9 days. I am looking for some last minute tips from all my fellow disers.

I am looking for info that you have found helpful, i.e. where to sit for fireworks, what food not to miss (can't wait for a hotlink corndog :woohoo:), fast pass suggestions. Any tips you can give to help make our 5 day trip GREAT!!

Also if anyone can ive me details on the best way to do Toy story mainia, i am a little confused about the whole lining up early thing.

OHH and i mentioned it above but, fireworks, where should i and my DW and four DD's sit, the girls are little so a clear view would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!!

How exciting to be going so soon!!!!

We always make sure we watch the fireworks once during our trip from in front of the castle.....it's absolutely amazing to be that close & to be surrounded by the fireworks....... hard to explain...but definately the long wait!! The area (benches) start getting taken as early as 2-3 hrs prior to the show.....we got a bench & then took turns holding it while others went off & did rides. Some people don't mind giving up some time for this but others don't......if you are looking for coming up closer to time...the hub area in the street will start filling with people. Even with people standing, your kiddos should be able to see most of it since the fireworks shoot up in the sky....seeing the castle might be harder for them.
Another area we've sat before is down in front of the train station by the flag pole. Its further back & doesn't congest near as bad as the castle area. You can see the castle & the fireworks.
If you don't care about viewing the castle & just want the girls to see the fireworks....I'd suggest going over by the Rivers of America & watching from there....still breath-taking.

Must get food for our family at the park: The Dole Whip (in front of the Tiki Room)......delicious & the funnel cakes from the Stage Door Cafe (right side, outside of the Golden Horseshoe). We also love the gumbo you can get at the Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans or the Royal Street Veranda.....spicy goodness!

Fastpasses....gather as many as you can early in the day & then take a break from the parks....come back in the evening & ride to your heart's delight on all the FP's you got earlier!!!!
On super busy days.....Splash Mtn, Indy & Space have been known to "run-out"....... BTMRR, Roger Rabbit, Autopia are pretty safe to get anytime.

Can't really help with Toy Story Mania....only got there once. We went thru the gates at DCA at opening & headed straight there..... not sure what the secrets are to being near the front of the line more than that. Hopefully someone can help you out here.

Hope that gets you started & I'm sure others will pipe in on their favorite fireworks spots & food picks. Have a magical trip!!
