last-minute Spring Break flights? wwyd?

At present, we are driving to FL for Spring Break (1st wk of April) from Indiana. Obviously, since most of IN is on SB then, flights out of Indy and Midway are booked solid, especially the discounted flights.

Since you can cancel or no-show without penalty on a SW flight, do you think there's ANY possibility of cheap last-minute flights for spring break?

If that IS a possibility, what would be the most efficient way to monitor SW and other airlines? Should I just call a travel agent and ask them to notify me if they find 4 seats at $xxx price for xx/xx dates?

I almost booked flights for us last week (leaving this Saturday)even tho our plan was to drive...couldn't quite get what I needed though so we are still driving. What tempted me was a SW DING fare...so be sure you have DING loaded! Other than that, I use Travelocity Fare Watcher but that won't give you SW info. I'd say there is always a chance for a last minute deal but you might have to be pretty flexible about times and dates.
