Last minute single diner reservations???

Hi,

I am going April vacation week to see the last shuttle launch. I searched Disney dining reservations webpage and nothing was available at Ohana, or California Grill. I would like to make a single diner reservation around 9pm so I can see the wishes fireworks my last night there before going back to Boston the next day. I am wondering is it possible to just come to the restaurant say the California Grill or Ohana say around 9pm and see if they have room for a single diner table??? Can you ever get in right away? And if I'm waiting to see if they have a table can I ask if I could go out and see the fireworks if they start while I'm waiting???? or if its getting close? I mean I could just say that I've been waiting for over half an hour, can I at least see the fireworks???

Go to the California Grill lounge, they serve the full menu. No reservation needed. The problem you'd have is - that close to the fireworks, it's going to be crowded. If it's too crowded they won't even let you go up. I'd consider showing up a good bit early and staying in the lounge until the fireworks start.
