My DD has an appointment for an evaluation at a Children's Hospital in Florida for a night or two just an hour or so from Orlando. We thought that we could spend a day or so at the Magic Kingdom as long as everything went well after her evaluation.

How hard is it to get a last minute reservation at a Disney resort and what # do you call??? This will be the week of January 14.

TIA

Melinda

You just call the regular reservation number 407-WDISNEY. If you are going midweek (the 14th is a Monday) it's easier than if you are trying to get a Friday or Saturday night (especially since the marathon is the 12th and 13th). If you are booking room only, I would go ahead and book now. You can cancel up to five days prior to arrival without any penalty, and you would have the security of knowing you already have your space.

I've booked rooms as little as four days prior to arrival before, and some people have booked with less notice than that.

I can't really make reservations ahead of time. I won't know whether we can check in until my DD is discharged and that will be either Tue, Jan 15 or Wed, Jan 16. I guess I will just have to call when she is discharged and hope for the best.

Thanks

Melinda

Last year, the week before Christmas, I reserved a room at POP at 9:00 am for the same night ... AND I got an AP discount! I have 407-W-Disney on speed dial on my cell phone.
