I think I'm nervous because Universal is all new to me :o

We fly in Saturday evening at 5:50 then gather luggage and pick up rental van. So I'm thinking at best we'll get to HRH at 7:30ish.?. We might pick up some groceries too or get the kids tucked in then I will run back out. Hoping to be ready for Early Entry at USF Sunday morning. It says park opens at 8am so does that mean 7am for EE? Just making sure I can read the calendars right :D
I've ready too many touring plans and hints but I think I have a rough plan for the parks, mostly WWoHP 1st and last then whatever else in between.

My mom and I will alternate taking DS2 to the play areas. I admit I'm excited about the Fievel play area as I LOVED that movie as a kid. We'll use Child Swap areas too. Any other tips for a 2yo?

Upgrading to AP... There is a small chance we will be back in Orlando 3/11-3/19 so I'm debating upgrading to APs for us, I think the 1st weekend isn't blacked out on the Power Pass but the rest of that week is so we'd possibly do the Preferred Pass. There is a much better chance we will be at Universal November 2017 with some extended family so I'm thinking the AP discounts would be good, but we would have to renew before that trip... What do you think experts? AP yay or nay?

I'm so excited I can't stop thinking about the trip! I wish it was Friday already! :yay:

Yes for a 7am EE. If you keep going past fievel and woody wood pecker coaster there is a fun water area and behind that is a ball area. Your older two will love the ball area. Probably the little one also as my youngest was 2 the first time I took him.

Thanks... 7am seems so early but it should be worth it.
We will have to check out the ball area!

I would go for the preferred pass, it is not that much more per person as you may be looking at two more trips.
Thanks!

Just wanted to say I hope you post what you think after you get back. :) We're going in December with my 2 year old too and would love to see more thoughts and tips on Universal with a toddler! :)

Will do! I have a PTR going and I intended to make that a TR. I'll at least post a quick run down and focus on the little ones. I still wonder where to put the strollers since I've not seen it yet it's hard for me to imagine.

I have to confess we have never once made EE.........we did think about it one morning.........then turned over and changed our minds..........:D
I totally see this being us :( as we've done that on Disney trips before... so far I've warned everyone we will be getting up early, but in reality I only hope to do that the first day then go with the flow the next two days.

We start our journey today driving to my mom's then fly to MCO tomorrow!

Have a fabulous trip......will look forward to reading about it.......:)

It's very early! We've only done it once when DA first opened.

Well, I for one, LOVE rope drop. Keep in mind I visit for a week or more like you two do. Still make RD every day. The morning sun, the cooler air, the electricity of other newbies. Funny, though, this year the teens stayed in bed and I did EE more than once all by myself. Hey, I'm on vacation, I'll rest when I get home.

That's our motto too........rest when we get home.......we still get up early, just don't fancy EE.........

Maybe one day.........:D
