Last Minute Project help--easy to feed snack for large group from Winnie the Pooh.

I was on here sometime ago looking for costume assistance for my daughter's international fair--we chose England as our country. We were given free license to do ANYTHING we desired....so we are choosing to do the "real" story behind winnie the pooh.

My knowledge of English cuisine has me thinking of thinks that just don't seem appropriate to Pooh.

So British Disney Fans...

What can I make that is quick and simple--I'm thinking of honey or something with Orange Marmelade...but it is getting late and I am just stumped on the different things that they eat in the story (besides Pooh's insatiable appetite for honey).

Any ideas--quick and easy are my friend

Honey cookies? Though the sandwiches sound less effortful (is that a word, LOL)?

What a good idea to do Winnie the Pooh! I remember your original thread so it's nice to know what you decided to do

We did honey sandwiches and orange marmalade cake (yummy!!!).

She dressed as Piglet...originally some people couldn't figure out why she dressed as Piglet for the International Fair.

We did one side of her display as "DD's many adventures in England" with pics from our trip....she drew a picture of the English Flag....and we put the story of Pooh on the other side of the display.

I've only ever known Pooh to eat 'hunny' - I think that's the way he spells it! - and nothing else. Wracking my brains to think of something else but coming up blank. Hunny cake? Hunny buns? Hunny ice cream?

As for marmalade sandwiches? They are the preserve of one Paddington Bear esq who lives with the Brown family of 32 Windsor Gardens. Wrong bear! Isn't it strange how I can't remember what I did yesterday but I can remember facts from a 4 minute TV programme from 30 years ago? I'm feeling old!
