LAst minute OCt 19 stay??

How difficult will it be to get 2 rooms at the last minute for Fri night 10/19? We have GF booked for 20-27 and my family is all arriving on Sat am. My dad, DD3 and I are driving down and may arrive in Orlando on 10/19 and need rooms for the night. We won't know until that day. It seems to be a very busy week. Will we have trouble stying nearby, yet off site for one night.

You should be able to find something. Possibly take a list of hotels w/ you- and then when you get close start making calls. Think of the shear # of rooms to be had in WDW area. I know end of October is busy, but it still isn't as busy as the holiday's. Now the only crimp in the plan would be a hurricane on the coast-- sending people into central FL for evacuation.

You could always make a reservation now, that can be cancelled up until 4pm that day. That way you know you have someplace.

That was my thought as well. Many places give you until 6 to cancel. Just be sure and read all the conditions before you commit to a reservation.
