Last minute modification?

We are supposed to check into Beach Club on Monday (it’s Friday right now) under our DVC reservation which I borrowed points from 2021 for.
My daughter has a little stomach bug and I’m wondering when is the last possible time I can modify the reservation? Is it right until the day before?
We don’t want to completely cancel but modify for a future date.

You can make changes 31 days prior to arrival without putting points into holding. If you make any changes between 30-1 day prior to the start of your reservation, the points go into a holding account and can only be used for reservations made 60 days or less prior to arrival.

You can always throw yourself on the mercy of Member Services. Give them a call and see if they can do anything for you. Hope your daughter feels better soon!

Thank you so much. That is nice and clear. I did an online chat with DVC and the nice girl told me she would make a note to have my points not in holding and to mention that if I call.
I am going to make a decision tomorrow about whether to postpone or not. My daughter is acting normal and happy otherwise but her stomach has been off. She’s only 14 months so can’t really tell me how she’s feeling either.

Glad you got a positive response from MS. You have better things to deal with than worrying about holding points. Keep that poor baby hydrated. It’s heartbreaking to have a sick little one.
