Last Minute Mears Reservation?

So for a trip my family is taking next month, we are considering using rideshare once we arrive at MCO to get to our resort. But if the wait for a car is forever or if there is surge pricing when we arrive that makes rideshare unappealing, can I make an immediate reservation with Mears after I have already arrived at the airport? I think I recall reading in other threads that people have done that in the past, but I cannot recall for sure. If I make a last minute Mears reservation, do I list my flight number that has already landed as the arriving flight? Obviously, I am a little apprehensive about waiting to the last minute, but want to keep my options open. If anyone has tried a last minute reservation and has any insights to share, i would appreciate it. Thanks!
