Last minute luggage ?

Hi all!
We are leaving Friday! Yeah!! Doing the 7 day land/sea. Staying at POR Sun for 4 nights then on the Wonder for 3. We are driving so we will drive from resort to the Port. I am planning on taking just what we need on the ship but my question, Are we going to have ALL of our luggage when we get on? That will be a hassle for the welcome aboard buffet. We received luggage tags in our docs. Do they transfer our luggage to the ship. We of course did not purchase transfers for us. Any answers out there?

I'm jealous... you are leaving soon!!!

You will check your luggage at the port just like you do at an airport...

Just carry on what you will need until your luggage get's delivered to your room!

I have been on one cruise but I flew in & had the transfers. I remember checking in and getting Kttw card but my luggage was transfered from the airport. This time I will already have the card from the resort. I don't remember where they were checking in any luggage. Do I have to check in I thought I didn't? AHHH! See any last minute thing to worry about & I will think of it. Thanks for your help & anyone else.

Don't fret. When you get to the terminal there will be porters outside to take your luggage from you. If you are on the land/sea pkg then you do not need to check in again upstairs....just get in the boarding line.

Remember to keep any carry on bags with you that you don't want the porters to check.

Last month they had a porter in the parking lot taking out luggage. In January DH drove us up to the drop off area at the port and the porter took out bags there but this time they had a porter in the parking lot. A lot more convenient.

Customary tip is about $1 per bag
