Help! We are heading to So Cal for Legoland and visiting family but are doing Medieval Times on Saturday (tomorrow!) and need a hotel somewhere nearby. Prefer at least 3 star, and my options are limited at the last minute. Everything I'm finding has an occupancy limit of 4 and we are a family of 5. Ugh! Any suggestions of a hotel that might be available to accomodate us?

TIA!

I would look for a 2 room suite. W/2 king or full/double beds and a pull out couch. this is ususally what we do. Me, DH, DD17, DS12, DS14.

Near legoland in Carlsbad we stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Carlsbad-North San Diego County. It included a hot breakfast daily. We also stayed in Buena Park at the Raddison Suites Buena Park, Near Disneyland we stayed at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South & Hampton Inn and Suites. All of these hotels have suites w/free breakfast and some have shuttles to the different parks. I either got a discount through the hotel site with my AAA discount of booked through getawaytoday.com where I ususally get a 3rd or 4th night free.

Hope this helps :)

We are a family of six and we always stay at Staybridge Suites. They can accommodate you and they have a nice breakfast, and some Free dinners too! Good luck and have a wonderful time!!

We ended up finding a room available at Sheraton park on harbor. It was terribly overpriced for what it was, but was fine for a night. When we booked they only had park view rooms available but we wanted a lower floor so upon checking in they downgraded us which saved us a few bucks. Thankful for that. Medieval times was awesome and legoland was awesome as well. Highly recommend the legoland hotel. Thx for the helpful replies. We always book early and don't usually have trouble getting a room for five. We bring a cot so as long as there's two beds it works, but I don't want to lie about the number of kids we have.

Yeah I heard that legoland hotel was cool. Yeah I wouldn't want to lie either. Our kids like going down to breakfast by themselves so its just not a good idea. I'm glad you had a good time & found a nice place to stay.
