Hi,
My family just moved to California this week. While we're living in a hotel waiting on housing, we figured that maybe we should just head down to DL and have some fun while we wait.
We've been to wdw many times, and I'm a pretty thorough researcher. But this is our first time in DL, and I have no time to research!
We're staying at best western Stovall inn, and our kids are 6 and 4.

Here are my questions if any of you can help, or link me to a good thread.

1) I got the park hours and show times, but don't see any magic mornings for our entire trip. Is this possible? Our dates are this coming week, the 22nd through the 27th.

2) where should we start our mornings at each park? We try to make rope drop each day. I send my hubby for FPs. Is fantasyland the most recommended to do first, like at wdw?

3) any links within the forums for touring strategies?

4) can you bring food into the park?

Thanks!!!

Magic Morning hours are offered on S and T days, so Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The one for Sunday the 22nd is in fact listed on the daily schedule on Disney's official site, so I don't know what you were looking at for information. You should have one magic morning with 3-day or more tickets unless you have some sort of special super discounted ticket that doesn't include any magic mornings.

With kids that age, it will be good to start in Fantasyland at least one morning. Peter Pan first. Line builds and stays steady, and there's no fastpass.

3) any links within the forums for touring strategies?

Hydroguy has done some good stuff.
Here's the DLR Guide for WDW vets:

and Hyrdroguy's tips:

4) can you bring food into the park?
Yes. No glass. No sandwich "fixings" like a loaf of bread, pack of meat and condiments, but whole made sandwiches are fine.

Thanks for the advice!

I just rechecked he Disney website and on the daily schedule for the 22nd, I still see "Magic Morning hours Not available this day"

But I'll take your word for it, that helps me plan out our days.

Your browser is not displaying the whole page.

Some of Disney's calendar stuff and programming stuff is messed up. When I go to the official Disney website using Chrome on my computer and click on the daily schedule specifically for that day, the magic morning hours are listed. If you are using a different device or app or even browser, there have been known to be inconsistencies in what shows up. Like I said, the magic mornings are pretty consistent. Special events can change things, and who knows what changes Disney may choose to implement with the June grand reopening of DCA, but for next week I don't know any reason why the magic mornings wouldn't be on the same schedule they've been on for quite a while now.

Thanks for the help. I just checked on my laptop and I could see it there. I was using an iPad before.
