Hoping someone can help!

*When we get off the ship in the Bahamas (Nassau and Castaway Cay), do we take our passports with us, or just copies?

*We have an early Atlantis Aquaventure scheduled in Nassau. How and when will we be informed of where and when to meet for the excursion?

*I received DCL luggage tags in the mail. We are going to WDW before and after the cruise. We only have Disney transfers thru DCL on the way back to the resort after the cruise. Is that when we would put those tags on our luggage (when we get off the ship?)? or what are those for?

Thank you!

1) In order to get off the ship, all you need is your KTTW card. To get back on the ship you need your KTTW card and (for those 18 and over) a government issued photo ID. The photo ID can be a driver's license, state ID, passport. I'm not sure whether a copy would qualify and "government issued".

2) If it's a DCL excursion, when you board the ship and get to your room, there will be excursion tickets in your room. On there is printed where/when to meet for the excursion.

3) I believe that the DCL tags are good for WDW resorts transfers also. Are you taking the Magical Express? Or renting a car? If you are using private transportation from airport to WDW to port, you won't need to put the tags on until the last night before you head for the port. It helps DCL to get your checked bags from the bag drop curbside to your room onboard.

1) OK then I will instruct my crew to bring their drivers licenses off of the ship (and we have 2 kids under the age of 18), and leave all the passports in our room on the ship, I guess.

2) OK great!

3)We are taking Magical Express to the resort from the airport, and then private transfer to the port. It makes sense....our room # for the cruise is listed on the luggage tags, so we would put them on before we get to the port. (We will be separated from our luggage, and then they will deliver to our room, I assume?). So do these tags stay on our luggage while we are on the cruise? I know we will be separated from our luggage again when we get off the ship, and head to the Disney transfer bus back to WDW. Or do they provide us with new tags for that once we are on board?

Thank you!

You might check the information booklet you also got. I think that the luggage tags are also used for the Magical Express. It will tell you in the booklet when they need to be put on for sure.

You will get different luggage tags for getting off the ship. You get them with your nightly turn-down service the night before last.

I have also received luggage tags from Magical Express to be used at the airport. There is a lot of back and forth for us this trip, so just trying to keep it all straight in my mind : )

OK great, thanks for all the good information!
