Last Minute Dilemna!

I have an oppurtunity to go to wdw the day after thanksgiving (Nov. 25) and staying until Nov. 29. Delta has a reasonable fare at 162 r/t. We have booked a cruise for dec 8. My question is: We were thinking of buying AP so we could use them in dec as well and perhaps later next year: If I bought the APs would there be a chance of getting a discounted room rate this late in the game? Any help would be appreciated!

I think WDW completely uses the Best Rate Program now for AP room reservations, so the answer is no. You need to book 60 days in advance. But if you're planning to go three times in one year, an AP can get you discounts at some restaurants and stores. And if you have an AP, you can buy the DDE for $50, which gets better discounts at restaurants. So it still may be worth getting at least one AP for the group.
