Hi,

My partner has just suggested that instead of booking to go to DLP for a few days in early October like we were planning, we should leave booking right up until the last minute and try to get a cheap Florida deal. Has anyone done this at that time of year (planned dates would be October 8th - 15th but we can be flexible) and if so was it very hard to find a deal? He's wanting to get a car, accomodation and flights for under £350 each - that sounds way too low to me but is it possible? Could you give me some websites that do great last minute deals so I can keep my eye on them? Thanks!

Sorry, I've never had the nerve to leave things until the last minute (or the good fortune to be able to fit in an extra trip at short notice ;) ), but I'd love to know to look just in case!

I've booked loads of people last minute at that time of year, as long as you don't go 2 weeks later you'll miss the half term crowd, If you're seriously thinking about it then start looking about beginning of Sep as when you get within 2 weeks of departure most places will be allocated on arrival, I wouldn't think it'd be a great problem to get a flydrive last minute and book some accommodation when you're out there.
