I have an annual pass burning a hole in my pocket for the first time! But I'm a state away so I would have to drive down and stay in a hotel. Does Disney do any last minute getaway specials? Any other advice for some cheaper, last minute trips?

Not exactly last minute deals, but you can book last minute if you want. Room or package deals. Right now they are offering 35% off for AP holders. Hope that helps.

Also if you are looking to stay inside disney and can go last minute keep an eye on the DVC rent/trade board. I often see people wait till the last month to rent their points and you could get those pretty cheap...as long as there is availability. I couldn't say to outside resorts as I like to stay at the disney resorts.
