Last minute change in Resort

We are taking the DME and our yellow luggage tags say Pop (our original resort) and now we are staying at OKW

I called DME and they do have records of the change but no time to send new tags. The person I spoke to there told me to just cross off POP from the tags and hand write in with black sharpie OKW

Do you think this will be ok?

Also- when we get to the check in area at ME do we just give her our new reservation number and let the check in desk know we need the OKW bus, not the Pop bus?

Change the yellow tags with black marker. The BAR CODE on your DME booklet will reflect the new resort, so when they scan it prior to boarding the bus they will have you going to the proper resort. If you want to stop at the check in desk to verify , but as long as they have the BAR CODE correct, you can just go to the scanner CM and she/he will direct you to the OKW bus line.

Shoes99 is correct. They will go by the Bar Code to route your bags to your OKW room. But definately change the code for the resort to OKW in sharpie, as that will help too.

So how is it that you are upgrading to OKW? You will absolutely love it there! The studio at OKW is some almost 50% larger than a room at POP (376 sq ft vs 260). Plus at the DVC resorts, the laundry machines are free (in case of accidents).

don't cross out the barcode on the yellow tags, just draw a line through the resort name ( pop) and list OKW.

What everyone else said. Just to ease your mind....I did this on a trip last May and it worked out just fine.
