Last minute budget trip help needed

Ok.....So this has been an extremely long, depressing cold winter in the NE this year for us. DH has decided that a quick cheaper get away trip is just what we need. I know it is not totally budget friendly, but I want to make it as budget friendly as possible without worrying about bringing little friends back with us. We are considering staying offsite and may not even stop in the parks on this trip. Remember we are more worried about the warmth and sunshine at this point than anything else. Any suggestions on places to stay off property? Tell me where you have stayed in Daytona, Orlando, etc. that is cheaper, but clean and no worry of little critters We of course would prefer to be in Fort Wilderness and may end up there yet but it is not as budget friendly this time of year.
