Hi been DLP a few times anyway I'm thinking of celebrating my babies 1st bday there. This is all v last min so I guess what I'm asking is can you book DLP say a week before you want to go? Or do flights go pretty quick? I would be flying out from manchester thanks in advance! X P.S sorry for the mumbling lol :lmao:

it would be a pretty expensive way of doing DLP, because flight prices tend to go up the closer to your trip date you get, and there may be no discounted hotel/tickets deals around when you are booking. But yes, you could do a last-minute trip.

I once read a trip report somewhere about a couple who suddenly decided to hop in the car and drive down to DLP. They then booked their hotel using their laptop and a wifi connection once they were in the resort. So yes, it is possible!

I should think you could still get a reasonable deal on your hotel however, as the previous poster said, your transport costs wouldn't be very economical.

Is driving down via the tunnel an option? That might be your best bet travel-wise.

I wouldn't risk something that much... hotels could be full (well, Disney hotel)..

I'd also recommend not doing this... to make the most out of trips to DLP it really pays off to do at the minimum a months research before going to really get everything you need on the trip.

These boards rock for giving advice and finding useful bits out. :)

Thanks looks like I better get booking it this week then! Or do you reckon there will be a better offer coming when this ends in march? I have a 7 yr old too so could do with getting the under 12 free offer cheers x:thumbsup2

this offer is up to 30% off (but folk have reported they've found some 40% off offers too when they've run dummy pricings). Who knows what may come up after the end of March?

Think I'll just have to bite the bullet and getting booking then ASAP :goodvibes
