Last year we booked last minute at Sheraton Vistana Resort. Amazing place !
We are looking at different places to book. We are planning to go in a couple weeks.
Which would you suggest to us ? 2K 8 & 10 yrs old, + 2A

Worldgate Resort
Bahama Resort
Palms Internation Resort

Thanks a bunch !!! Or do you have another suggestion ? We can pretty much get all 3 under $2,000 incl air, car and hotel from Toronto. Awesome deals !!

I know it's not listed on your suggestions, but I stayed here last year with my family and fell in love! Very close to World Drive and the villas were great! Plus they are running a special on travelzoo.com for $99/night for a 2 bedroom villa through June 15 (and parts of August).

Hope we can get that deal as we plan to be back there in November!! :goodvibes

Thanks, but I don't believe that hotel is an option. We are booking our trip, which includes air, hotel and car incl. all taxes. The tour company only gives certain hotels as options, and the 3 that I mentioned come up as hotel options.

Help please......anyone !! I've been reading a lot of good and bad reviews on all of these, and the bad stick with me more !!

Of those 3 if the Bahama is Bahama Bay, it seems to have the best reviews. But, I will preface that with none would be my 1st choice. You might do better by driving to Buffalo and flying from the states to Orlando and picking your own hotel.

Thanks rdevine10. We usually fly out of Buffalo, but it is more expensive to do that and do seperate air, hotel and car:(

We are having a hard time because last year we stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Resort and therefor comparing everything to that level of hotel !

If we did decide to fly out of Buffalo, and pay all seperately, it would be cheaper for us to do a Caribbean cruise then !!

What to do, what to do !!!

I hear you about comparing everything to SVR!! We decided to make it a two week trip last year and couldn't get a second week there, so we had to settle for another timeshare that was supposedly "updated"...what a joke!! I think the only updated part of our room was the potted plant!! lol It was horrible. We swore we won't go if we can't stay at SVR. We have been staying with them since 2004 (before updates) and honestly, we still loved it! Good luck and enjoy!

We can book the Sheraton if we want, but its $540 more to do so. I can book the Disney Caribbean Resort and that's $800 more. We do have a number of options, but we also think of really how often we are in our room, just to change and sleep. We were at the pool alot, so a great pool is a bonus.

What we do is we pick '1' Disney park to enjoy each time we go (this time around I think we are going to go to Animal Kingdom, we've done Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios - kids are 8 & 9.5 yrs, so suggestions are welcome too, as dh thinks we should do Universal this time!!). Then we will do a day trip to Anna Maria Island, maybe catch a Tampa Rays game, we 'might' go to Legoland. We are always on the go.

And of top of that, we did rent an amazing 4 bedroom home in Clermont 3 years ago with friends, and that was awesome too. We've been on the Disney Dream cruise as well.

So we 'compare' alot to our past trips and don't want to book something that will let us down.
But to get a hotel, car and airfare including taxes all for $1,800 that's awesome !!!
There are some hotels that are even cheaper, but I would never book at them!

We are last minute bookers......last year we booked our trip on the Monday and flew out on the Friday ! lol
