Last minute booking for CBR but really wanted POR

Just booked CBR. It was the only room available in all of Disney property!!! I really prefer POR where we stayed last year and had a great time. DD6 is excited about CBR, so we will probably stay there instead of trying to change to POR. Can anyone share with me some of the great things about CBR and with where is a good building to stay? I believe I have a preferred room. Thanks.

When are you going ? as the main pool is closed down for major renovation.

We are staying March 23-27. I do know that the main pool is closed. Thanks for the post about where to find the resort threads. I never knew they were up there.

My DDs are older than yours, but they would pick CBR over POR in a minute. They loved the beach areas. We went to the main pool one time, but they decided it was too crowded and preferred the quiet pool closer to our room.

If you have a preferred room, you will either be in Martinique or Trinidad North. Either location puts you in close proximity to the food court and the main pool (although it is currently closed). Each village does have its own quiet pool.

I made a mistake, I don't have a preferred room, but a room with a king size bed. I posted on the CBR III board and you gave me a nice detailed post about room possibilities for my booking/preferences. Thanks Renee

I'm glad I was able to help. We stayed at CBR for the first time in November, and I believe we have become lifelong converts!
