Last min trip- help with pandora

can anyone help me with a pandora strategy since I booked 11 days out and obviously don't have FPs.
We land at 8:50 on saturday and only have 2 days. Will do MK Sunday so that leaves sat at ak...not ideal.
It is just myself any my dd18.
We can head to ak anytime, but since we miss rope drop anyways, I was thinking we will show up around 2 or 3.
What is my best option for doing FoP and NRJ? Wait for eemh, try midafternoon when morning people may be heading out and evening people not arrived yet?
Appreciate any help.

FoP wait times are pretty intense all day long, even during EEMH. Expect anywhere between 2-3 hours on standby for FoP and between 1-2 hours for Na'vi River Journey. Basically, if you want to absolutely experience the Pandora rides on your trip, set the expectation that a good portion of your day will be spent waiting in line.

If you miss Rope Drop, there isn't much you can do but wait in the lines. I would keep checking for an FP to come up though. It sometimes happens, so you might get lucky. If you can, maybe wait until the end of the night for FoP where at least the line might be a little shorter.

ok, we have done wdw a ton, so the focus is pandora for our AK day. wait in line we must. I will keep checking for fp to open though. At least we won't have any littles standing in line with us.

sweet, thanks! I checked his site last night and that article wasn't posted yet. So I will try at 1:45, 4:15, and if those fail or we want to wait a 2nd time, will hop in line at 11:30pm for FOP. Sounds good!

That is a great article, but the OP did say that they wouldn't make Rope Drop, so I don't know if the strategy will work for them.

What time do buses start operating for AK on 9 am opening days? If I wanted to get there at times mentioned in that article would something like Uber be a better option??
