Last min. trip. ?airlines/pkg. from D.C.

I am hoping that someone may have an idea about how to proceed. My husband is in another country and will be flying into Dulles(D.C.) this Friday the tenth. My daughter has an illness which has gotten worse(not life threatening) and we would like to go to WDW for the weekend leaving on Fri. pm or early Sat. am. I have tried Orbitz, SW, AirTran, Delta and Usair with flights for 4 reaching almost $2000. We have to buy hoppers and need a hotel so that fee for airline tix is too steep. I tried 11th hour vacations and site 59 but there are no flights that would give us any time at WDW. Are there any other airlines that fly out of the Wash. D.C. area that i could try? I am posting this on the Budget board since it is re: $. We can come home Sun. pm or very early Mon. a.m.. Thanks so much. Susan

Did you try flying out of BWI? I often chose BWI instead of Dulles due to savings.... I priced it out for you and it is $ 1346.00.

Thanks so much Ann! Bwi would be great but I am worried that my husband might not get there in time with rush hour traffic. He arrives at Dulles at 4pm from Paris, so he will have to clear customs and then get his car from long term parking and then make the drive from VA to Baltimore. Which airline were you lookin at? I just checked airtran and it looks like they have a webspecial for $64 going down on Saturday morning...but to come home it's anywhere from $171. And this was from Dulles. Did you try Travelocity?

I live in the area, and if we cannot get 150$ trips we drive. Not an option for a weekend though. Why don't you wait a weekend or two and book in advance for less? We plan to go in April over Spring break, (driving).
