I was wondering if there were any good packing list out there. Maybe even one for when you are staying DVC in a 1bdrm or higher?

Also, do they supply you with paper towels? If so how many rolls. Also do they give you any laundry/dryer sheets or dish detergent? And if they do, do they replenish them on your trash and towel day?

Anything else you always bring that you find to make your trip easier? If you had a first trip something you wish you brought?

Also, have any of you used that grocery store that delivers? Were you happy w/ their service? Was it especially expensive? Thanks

We will be in BLT 1bdrm.

Oh and finally any tips to make these last 17 days NOT go the snails pace that the 17 days prior to this did would be AWESOME! ;):lmao:

Here's a packing list: http://www.mousesavers.com/UltimatePackingList.doc

Usually there is one roll of paper towels in your unit. I'm sure they'll bring you more as needed if you call mousekeeping. There is a small box of laundry detergent, enough for one load; no dryer sheets. I take those Purex sheets that act as both detergent and softener. There is usually enough liquid detergent supplied. Again, if you need more, just call and they will bring you some.

I always take extra hangers. For us, there are never enough.

SusieBea answered most of your questions except the grocery service. We've used Garden Grocer with no troubles. She charges you the cost of the groceries plus a fee and will shop at whatever store you prefer. The cost of the groceries wasn't any more than I expected.

I second the Purex sheets - it's what we use also. The box they give you is Tide.

No tips for making the time go faster....wish I knew one though

:) WeGoShop has a nice lady named Marge that everyone raves about and then I have also heard only good things about Garden Grocer. GG charges about $12 for deliver until you spend something like $200. They also offer ber and other alcohol if you request it. We are going to try them for the first time this Dec. I know what you mean about the packing list...I am still making a list for the OL.

Thanks so much for that packing list and everyone's advice.

I can't seem to find beer on the Garden Grocers site...can anyone direct me where to go? Also I assume you have to be there for del? Any idea how long you have to wait. Can you request a time? Thanks

I bring my own liquid Tide and Bounce Sheets. Plus I also bring a set of suction cup hooks that I stick up in the shower for the wet bathing suits.

We used Garden Grocer this past March and were very happy with their service. The groceries were delivered on time and we got everything we ordered. They also picked up beer for us as well. I would definitely use them again (and plan to for our next trip in December).

We bring the sticky cup shower things for holding a razor and a bar of soap in the shower. It seems like there is never enough room in there...the razor holder I really like having there. I also bring one of those really thick bath mat rugs for outside the shower. I don't like using the ones they supply, they aren't thick enough and comfy enough for me. :-)
