I found all the jokes to be cliche and stupid. The face the wife made every time he said something I just didn't think it was funny.

Now tonight is a different story, I love Modern Family and The Middle.

Now tonight is a different story, I love Modern Family and The Middle.

Tonight is my only big TV night. Both of those shows are rare and brilliant. As a bonus, I find I'm really liking Suburgatory too. The fourth ABC sitcom tonight...is it Happy Endings? is watchable, but tries too hard. But yea, tonight is the only reason I even own a TV anymore!

Well, I didn't vote for watching it & went into it with an attitude. Didn't love it. Some parts I could have lived without.

I guess oddly enough for a woman, one of the parts I found interesting was his standing up for being a man & his attitudes about it. IMO for quite a few years now men can only be buffoons & their "manly" attitudes the butt of the jokes, with women always knowing better. In that respect this show balanced it a bit more, so maybe they could grow this show into something a bit different.

It definitely wasn't perfect & I wasn't bowled over, but if I watched again I'd give it more of a chance and see what they do with it.
