Last Kidani question (for now)

Sorry, I've asked so many Kidani questions lately. It's been such a long time since we stayed there and my memory stinks!

What is the closest grocery to Kidani? It seems like I remember taking a back road and being at a Publix or Walmart in 5 minutes, but looking on Google Maps, I'm not seeing anything that close.

The closest grocery store to AKV is the Publix at Orange Lake Town Center.

Head out of AKL/AKV and turn right at the traffic light (Sherberth Rd) just after you pass the guard shack.
Follow Sherberth Rd to US-192 (W Irlo Bronson Memorial Pkwy) and then turn right on to US-192.
Follow US-192 for approx. 1.5 miles and then turn right on to Orange Lake Blvd.

There is also a Super Target on Irlo Bronson Way that was....pretty super. It had a lot more food options than the Target I have at home.

The Target is actually directly across the highway (192) from the Publix (from 192, you turn left at Orange Lake Blvd rather than right to the Publix), and thus they are both the same distance from AKV. Both are good and do not have jacked up prices just for being close to WDW. If you have a Target Red Card, you might consider the Target because it has a grocery store section that is more like a real grocery store and much better than most that you usually find at any Target store. Total driving distance from AKV to either is about three miles. As the crow flies, both are only about 3/4 a mile from AKV, but you cannot get to them in that direction because in between the resort and the store areas is forest and swamps.
