PRE- Trip:
We live in south florida and usually make it to Disney 2 or 3 times a year. One of those are usually 5 days or more and the other 2 are weekend trips. We planned this trip as a last hurrah before the baby is born. After he is born, we won't be renewing our passes for a year or so. The first day of our trip was just hubby, the girls and our friends and I. My sister joined us the next day and my hubby left for home because he had to work. We also met up with other friends Sun night. The wed before the trip, I was contracting all day and went to the hospital for preterm labor which they stopped. They ran a test that would indicate if I could go into labor in the next 2 weeks. My doctor said if it was positive, I could not go to Disney and if it was negative I could go but minimal walking, lots of water and other restrictions. All of which I followed to a T mind you!!!!

Day 1 - april 25th:
We woke up from our off property hotel on Sunday morning and our friends and our clan drove to the All Star Sports for check in. The woman confirmed the medically needed fridge so I knew they got my room requests (the only time I mentioned it) so I asked if it was possible for a room in 7 or 10 building when the lady told me we were complimentaryily upgraded to the prefered building. After this we got on the bus to Animal Kingdom. Knowing we'd be there most of the day, I rented a ECV scooter. We went over to Dinoland where the girls rode the dino ride and then my hubby and our friends rode the roller coaster. After this, we watched the Tarzan show. Got a fast pass for the Safari and then we ate. And after that we got on the train to Rafiki's planet watch and by the time we got back, it was time for the safari. After that we left our friends for a bit and brought our stuff to the room. It was on the parking lot side of building 6 but just a few rooms off of the elevator (nice!). The friends made it back and we all headed to Downtown Disney for our ps with our other friends Maria and Nelson at House of Blues. My sister then called and told me she was in Downtown Disney (came a day early). So our group of 12 ate dinner. I'd never eatten there but boy it was good and we had a great time. Seperated from everything at that point (the ones we spent the day with were driving home).

DAY 2 - April 26th
We got up and made it to Magic Kingdom at 9am on the nose. We went right to Buzz Lightyear and then did the race cars and a trip on the people mover. After that we waited for Toon Town to open and at 10am the characters all came out and we found Minnie Mouse, Pluto and other characters around for pictures. We were in line to see Cinderella but she had to go inside so the mouse took the girls hands and walked us in which was very sweet. We went through that line and then went through the Pooh and friends line (younger dd's fav). After that we got on the train and headed out of Magic Kingdom and went to the Contemporary for our ritual of lunch and games in the game room. After that we headed back to the room for a nice swim and then a nap. Before the kids layed down, my hubby said bye bye to them and he left for home. When we all woke, we headed for Epcot where all we did was Spaceship Earth and ate dinner in China. Then called it a day.

DAY 3 - April 27th
This morning we went off property. Had breakfast at Ponderosa (our fav!) and then went to Beltz mall for some shopping. The girls each picked out a costume at the Disney outlet (older dd chose Ariel & younger dd chose Tinkerbell and they were only $15. And found some really great deals at Gap including the ONLY shoes my girls wear which are leather sandels and they were on clearance for $6.97, bought each 2 pairs at that price!! We picked up McDonalds on the way back to the room and decided to bypass naps as we wanted to get to MGM for the parade. Got there and did Playhouse Disney and then sat on the wall in front of the famous heads for great seats for the parade. After this we did Who Wants to Be a Millionare and the backstage tour. And we went to see Mickey Mouse. After that, we headed to the theater for Fantasmic 1 hour and 40 minutes before it started, they had just opened the theater. Got GREAT seats but then the wait began. Took turns to get dinner and the time actually went by very fast. It was a jammed packed theater. When we got out, we decided to just hang on the Main Street for an hour while the park cleared out which was a good idea because then we just hopped on the bus back to the hotel.

DAY 4 - April 28th
Today is Julia's "disney bday" so when we got to Epcot for early entry day, we planned to head to guest services for a bday button. Along the way into the park, Julia tripped and fell, really hard, on her face and knees. She was a mess. So we get in and find that First Aid is almost to World Showcase. So we made a quick stop in Guest Services on the way for the button. We then decided to change our lunch at Garden Grill to a ps at Crystal Palace for dinner for Julia's bday dinner. After that we went to the Land and road the ride which the kids LOVED. Got out of there and went to the Living Seas which was cute as they have incorporated Nemo into it. Went went back to the Land for an early lunch and then the kids did the cookie making demonstration which was fun for them. Got out of there and the kids play in the fountains for awhile Then headed back to the hotel where once again didn't have time for a nap. So headed to Magic Kingdom for our dinner. The food was fabulous but interaction was horrid. We were there an hour and a half and right before we left was when we saw the characters. Probably wouldn' eat there again because of this. After dinner, the we rode Aladins Carpet ride and Pirates of the Carribean. Then we decided to go to the Poly to watch the fireworks on the beach. We got back to the monorail to find they were having technical difficulties. The park closed at 9:30 and we did not make it back to the Magic Kindgom to get on our bus until 11:30pm.

DAY 5- April 29th
Originally planned for early entry but when Mickey called I said not on your life and we slept until 8am. My sister wasn't coming with this morning as she had a get together planned with some people from her baby board of kids all born around the same time as my nephew. The girls and I still managed to make it to the Magic Kingdom by 9am. We rode the tea cups, merry go round, It's a small world and then we sat for the Belle's Storytime show. Made small talk with a woman who was behind us and the girls were talking to one of her daughters who was in a minnie costume (the girls were in their new costumes). So the girls wanted her to sit with them. When the show started, Belle chose my girls and the girl they were talking to to help be in the show. My older dd was Clogsworth and younger dd was Lumiere. Then we left Magic Kingdom and went to Ft Wilderness to have lunch at Trails End (my fav). We were first in line when they opened so they let the girls "open" Trails End. They had to ding the triangle yelling COME AND GET IT. Was very cute. Headed back to the room after that and my sister and the boys were back so swimming we went. Then took a nice nap before heading back to Magic Kingdom. We rode Aladin again and staked out seats for the parade. Took turns again to get dinner. Definately enjoyed the parade and worth the wait. Decided we didn't want to stay for the fire works but it so happened that they started as we were at the front gates so watched them while in line for the bus which was totally AWESOME. Headed back to the hotel to crash.

DAY 6- april 30th
Slept in today until 8:30 or so and took our time packing and putting stuff in the car. Around 10:30ish we headed for Animal Kingdom. I have NEVER seen this place so crowded in my LIFE. Every school possible was there and lines were insane. We headed to Africa and had lunch at Tusker house and got on the train to Rafiki Planet Watch. By this time I was SO tired and sore and starting to contract and didn't want to deal with the crowds so we headed to Magic Kingdom for the parade. Staked out good seats but 10 minutes before it started, the heavens let loose. It was POURING and even with ponchos and jackets we got soaked. But was hoping for the best and stuck around until they cancelled the parade. So we headed back to the hotel and changed and headed home.

IN THE END -
It was a very nice trip. Alot of crowds but just have to know how to work them. Plus the objective of the trip was not to rush, not to do all the usuals and just enjoy and rest which we did. The girls did pin trading for the first time (thanks again to the people from the board, you know who you are) and they really truely enjoyed it and have some great pins that totally represent "them". I'll miss our trips to Disney but i'm so tired right now, I couldn't imagine going back soon and the thought of going with the girls AND a new baby, NO WAY!!!

Anyway, I know I didn't get to detailed... just don't have the energy too. If you have any questions about the trip, email me. Wanna see pictures? They tell their own little story anyway.. the link is http://www.beautybabies.net/disneyapril2004.htm

Sounds like a fun trip. Your girls are adorable! It seems like we have parallel lives! We had our Disney trip before baby in January when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant with our first boy. Our girls are 5 and 2 1/2 and I grew up in So. Fl. (Plantation). Glad you were able to enjoy some special times with your girls before your little guy arrives. Good luck, three is crazy but great!
