Our flight out of Orlando is at 6:05 pm, so I figured we'd need to catch DME by 3:00ish (I thought I read three hours in advance is typical). I thought we'd go back to MK for a few hours that morning. We are doing one day at each park, with one extra. I guessed it might be easiest to get Anna and Elsa fast passes on our last day.

My original plan was to have breakfast at the hotel, check out, go to MK, see A&E, ride a ride or 2, eat lunch at BOG, then depart. Anyway, I was able to get both breakfast and lunch ADRs at BOG, breakfast at 9:15, lunch at 12:30. It was just on a whim I snagged them both. Which should I keep? We are on the dining plan, if that matters.

I would keep lunch and use that early morning time to ride. I would probably preorder lunch in order to speed things up or else I would be waiting in line stressing if we will have time to eat and get back for ME. I am a nervous nelly like that though.

You have a good plan. We always plan a noon flight so we can have a nice breakfast somewhere special then catch DME at 9. We then get home early enough to relax and unpack.

MK is always our last day plan too! I also think you should keep lunch ADR and use early morning for ride time! A&E was our last FP on our last trip - it was a great way to end our vacation! Have fun!

I would move lunch earlier. You need to be leaving the park by 1:15.

Where are you going to catch DME? That could make a difference as to when you need to leave MK.

We had a couple of hours on our last day one year, so we went to MK at RD and just rode Buzz Lightyear like 5 or 6 times in a row. It was really fun. We let DS pick what ride he wanted to do over and over.

I don't know where I'll catch DME. How do I figure that out?

You catch it from your resort, which resort are you at? Some take longer to get to from MK.

For us, we do what we're in the mood for and we decide that the last couple days. I think a basic plan like you have with a lunch reservation is a good choice. If your not in the mood for that the night before, it's really easy to change it to somewhere else. Especially handy for something like BOG where reservations are harder to get.

Thanks. We're at all star music, so a bit farther from the park. Maybe I'll try to move lunch up so we aren't rushing to get back there.

I'd move it up, best case senario lunch is fast and you do something on the way out. Worst case your not stressing out about having to leave lunch early to make it to your bus.

Lunch at BOG takes more than 45 min?
It'll probably take about 45 minutes, but it could take longer if you're not seated right away. When I say you need to be leaving the park by 1:15, I mean actually walking out of the gates, not back in Fantasyland. If you miss your DME bus, you're going to be responsible for getting yourself to the airport. You don't want to risk it.

Usually you catch it from your hotel. Where are you staying? Are you leaving your luggage there while at the park?

We are at all star music. I'm not sure about how the luggage works.

You will catch the bus at your hotel.

You can check your luggage at the resort RAC desk in the morning if you want. Leave your carry on bags (and the rest of the luggage if you don't use RAC) with bell services.

When you return to the hotel in the afternoon, you'll need to get your things from bell services and make sure you are at the DME loading platform at least 15 minutes before your bus is scheduled to leave, which should be between 2:45 and 3:15.

bog is the funniest acronym i've seen on here, i always read it as a word

I am in the minority, but I would take the 9:15 BOG, and be all check out of resort and luggage checked. That way you could enjoy your breakfast, have you lady day FP scheduled, and leave the park when you are ready. I have "appointments" when I need to make a deadline.

This does mean early up, packed and out, but then you are dine

Maybe I'll keep them both until I see when I can get an A&E fast pass. Then decide from there.
