So, I was talking to a CM today on the phone and she said I had about a week before we arrive to add dining. That's great and all. But I want to make sure that is true. B/c she then proceeded to tell me that if I was going to be at one park and wanted to eat at another park that I can just buy an extra park ticket and it would be cheaper than the park hopper. Now, I've done enough research to know this is not true. I questioned her on it and she was pretty adoment. So I dropped it. I just want to be there when she tries to do this. This made me question most of my questions that I asked her. So, I'm here asking you. If we arrive on June 7th when is the last possible day that I can add dining?

Are you talking about the dining plan? Or ADRs?

I believe you have three days/72 hours before you arrive to add the dining plan.

You can add ADRs even when you're down in WDW - if there is availability for the restaurant you want. All you have to do is stop at your resort concierge to book, or even stop at Guest Services of any park to book that same day. Again, there may not be any availability but you can ask.

If you bought a separate one-day admission ticket for an adult it would be $90.53 for that base ticket. If you want to add park hopping to a multiday ticket you have to pay $55. There's no way that's cheaper. Anything else stated by this phone agent should probably be suspect...

At any rate if you want to add the dining plan you have until 72 hours before your arrival date to do it. For an arrival on June 7th the last possible date to add dining appears to be June 3rd.

Take note that if you make any changes to a package reservation within 2 weeks of arrival you may be charged a $15 fee to do it, so I'd add the dining before then if you want to keep from paying any fee. There's a $50 change fee to change a package within 45 days, but that is generally waived for an upgrade (adding something to the package rather than subtracting). But the $15 may be charged for ANY change, including upgrades.

I meant dining plan. :headache: I have all my ADR's in place, just not sure at this point if we want to be on the plan or pay OOP. We were planning on splitting table service meals b/c dd10 won't eat much and neither will I. So we are considering QSD. Plus, we are staying at CRS and thought QSD would be best w/ Peppermarket. We love our warm breakfast in the morning. I have looked at allears and the cost would be only $20 difference between OOP and on the plan. So, just checking our timing and options.
