Well, here I am at work and trying to keep my nose into it. But it's the last day at work until I go on vacation next Monday, and my mind is wandering. Actually, it's pretty much gone. Am I the only one out there with this affliction?

Congrats, just a few more hours to go, you'll make it! Have a good trip! My wife just called me from her job and expressed the same feelings, we're leaving Sunday!

Thanks! I'm trying to look studious, but nothing happens! (Trying to think, but nothing happens!)

Cookes of Dublin, Hole in the Wall, Smithwicks, fish and chips... among other things, of course!

Keep at it...just a few more hours. My DH calls me every few hours the day before we leave for WDW asking me if I remembered to pack or bring something. The secretaries say he walks around with his Disney mug humming the pirates song. You can do it...move the papers around the desk, paper clip some papers together, make some marks on some report. And hum to yourself...yo ho, yo ho the pirates' life for me;)

Yo ho, yo ho... looking like typing a report... Okay, I think it's working. :)

I feel like that now too (and always do before a trip to WDW) and I'm not going back til February! ;)

Good one! That got a chuckle.

I just gave two co-workers my contact info in case they need me to answer a question while I'm on vacation. I'm sure I can respond from a nice quiet place within WDW. What a work environment!

I usually feel like this from October (after my fall trip) until May (my spring trip), since I live in the frigid midwest:lmao:. During the hot, humid summer months, I miss the World but know I am better off up here where the heat and crowds aren't so intense:rotfl2:.

So, get through the next few hours, get out of work on time and have a tall, cold beverage of your choice:laughing:.

It's hard to be so close to leaving time and just not there yet! It's been too long since we've stayed at VWL, but we will be in just one week.:santa:

PS. Will anyone be attending the Merry Mixer next Friday? I'll be there with DSis, DCuz and a DF.

DW just called again, this time though her boss just told her she can leave two hours early so she's quickly getting into the idea of being vacation in about 30 minutes even though we don't leave until 7:00 a.m. Sunday.

I can give you the "address" of the palm tree near the Polynesian where my DH likes to "talk" to the office. OR he has discovered that the kitchen table in the one bedroom villa is perfect to spend out his reports/plans and then talk from the balcony...all the while thinking..."yo ho, yo ho..." We live on the west coast, so we can do a WDW morning by the time his office calls him. They only have a short window of time while we have lunch because after that he turns off the phone.

Maybe you also have the phone number of the phone booth at Epcot's UK Pavilion? Perhaps I can call from there. ;)
