Last day in WDW
Sad day in some ways but we still had a week of adventure to come.
Had a quick round-up of who still wanted to go on or visit a particular ride/place.

Went to MGM first and the bus driver was a hoot. He kept putting these scenarios to his audience and coming out with lots of Disney Trivia. The journey went very quickly due to this. The intrepid 3 went on RNRC whilst I went on the Great Movie ride again. I love this ride. Muppet 3-D vision and Honey I shrunk etc. were also not too busy so we enjoyed those.

After lunch we went our separate ways, the children back to FW and Tony and I back to EPCOT. We took the ferry over and saw more of the resorts up close. This was the first time they had offered to go anywhere on their own and so we had some time strolling around the pavillions as a couple. Had a lovely ice-cream from a stall in France and ensured that our memories of this interesting place were those of sun not the rain of the 2 nights before.

For our last evening we went to the M.K. We caught the monorail and looked at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and the Contemporary resorts.

To punish them for their mutiny yesterday we all went on It's a Small World. They didn't know too much about it but all came off singing the words all evening. Some of the other rides were still busy but had a lovely ride on the carrousel.

At 8.15 ish we found good viewing areas to watch Spectromagic sat on top of the large water fountains in front of the castle. Victoria and Andrew went off to ride on their favourites Splash Mountain and BTMR. We had bought some walkie-talkie radios the day before and so could keep in touch with them. The parade was enchanting with all the characters appearing different illuminated which the dark enhanced. Due to our early starts and resting in the mid-afternoons we had not seen any of the other parades apart from a speeded up parade of cars in MGM. I'm glad that we did not miss this one.

When the last twinkly light had gone around the corner we moved onto the grass in front of the castle and lay on our backs looking up at the castle and saw Tinkerbelle float from the glowing, changing hues castle down into the darkness. The fireworks rounded off our last evening in WDW and although it was a poignant moment we still had another adventure to come in this wonderful country that we were becoming so fond of.

Oh boy - what a way to end your WDW Adventure? Laying on the grass looking towards the castle!

I enjoyed this report - thank you so much for transporting me back :)

Thanks for the fab report - luv reading them!!!
