Last day dinner/lunch help needed: Kona, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon

I can't get anything fun for the kids for the last night of our stay (Whispering Canyon, Ohana, Chef Mickey) so here's my question:

Which would you pick:

Coral Reef or Whispering Canyon for lunch the last day (and why)

OR

Kona for dinner the last day.

OR recommend another FUN type restaurant to see if they have availability for our last night. My kids are 3 (turning 4 at Disney) and 6.

I have one TS left...is it wasted on a lunch menu vs. their full dinner menu? I think the kids would enjoy the atmosphere of Coral Reef or Whispering Canyon more, but I LOVE Kona and feel I'm getting more for my credit with dinner.

Opinions needed. Thanks.

You and your kids will be toast by the end of the trip. Happy toast, yes, but toast nonetheless. My kind advice is not to worry about wringing the last bit of value out of the DP or the last bit of fun (seriously, it's ALL fun at WDW!), but to make plans that most seamlessly align with the rest of your day. Will you be doing a park that day, or hanging at your resort? I'd simply pick a meal closest to where you'll be.

Our last day WDW plan is always: 8 a.m. breakfast at Crystal Palace, a few twirls on our most favorite MK rides, and a counter service lunch on our way out of the park and over to the resort. Once we picked up to-go meals from the counter service at the resort to eat at the airport.

If you plan to be at Epcot that morning (which I'm guessing, since Coral Reef is one of your choices) then I'd say we LOVE Coral Reef for lunch and I'm sure your kids will enjoy the big tank. I also wouldn't worry (and BTW we always do the dining plan) about the value of lunch over dinner at Coral Reef -- again just pick what suits your plan for the day and enjoy.

Oh -- and we always have our last night dinner at our resort, so that we can pack up and be ready for morning check-out with as little stress as possible.

Hope this helps.
