Hi there,

I'm looking for a restaurant for breakfast on our last day of our trip. We will be flying out that night. We will have park tix for that day and I am unsure which park we will visit (likely either MK or Epcot). But we do not necessarily need to hit the park for breakfast.

So far, we have experienced two breakfasts in WDW-Crystal Palace and Tusker House. We enjoyed both places. We would like to try a new restaurant.

It will just be my DF and myself. We will be staying at POFQ, but we would prefer to either have a park breakfast OR a deluxe resort breakfast.

We are thinking a character meal might take too long. We are less interested in meeting the characters and more interested in doig one last walk through of the parks and relaxing and stuff.

We are thinking maybe trying Kona at the Poly. I'm thinking that macademia pancakes might sound really yummy!

What do you think of Kona? Or do you have another recommendation?

Thanks!:goodvibes

Have you thought about The Grand Cafe at the Grand Floridian? You can take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, then hop the monorail over to the GF. The breakfast there is quick, but very good. Its a beautiful setting and very relaxing. I have never had a bad experience there. The lobster eggs benidict are to die for. Breakfast is quick(but not rushed) and you will have plenty of time to take the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom.

The Kona is excellent. I love the Tonga Toast and my DW loves the macadamia nut pancakes. Great atmosphere because it is open to the Poly lobby. I highly suggest it!

Totally agree with Grand Floridian Cafe excellent steak and eggs breakfast and its a beautiful resort to wander around then a quick momorail ride to MK for the last good bye. We plan it almost every visit.

On our last day (my BF and I), we decided on Ohana for breakfast. We also have park tix so we will probably go to MK after and then our flight out isn't until late. Kona seems like a good option minus characters.

We did Kona on our last day for breakfast and it was amazing! The pineapple macadamia pancakes were awesome.

I agree. We have eaten breakfast here many times and the food has always been excellent. Except I LOVE the Tonga Toast and DH loved the macadamian nut pancakes. + KONA Coffe. :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

If you're at Epcot, go through the International Gateway and eat at Kouzina. There are fabulous options for breakfast.

On our last day, we too have ADRs for O'hanas and then are going to MK before heading back home (we have the latest flight out of MCO). We love doing character meals on our last day and then go to MK....we try to cram in as much Pixie Dust as we can before we have to go home to Illinois. Another character meal breakfast that we thought was really good was 1900 Park Fare...the food was good and the characters were awesome (especially the mad hatter). If you are looking for a non character meal, and want to stay in the MK area, then I would either try out Kona Cafe or Whispering Canyon Cafe (they have a very good breakfast skillet). Good luck and have a great time.

My choice for my last day breakfast is going to be Kona cafe for the macadamia nut pancakes......makes me sad [last day] and happy at the same time!
