Last Day before trip - My Gang

Last preTrip report before we fly out in the morning. Need to bring DS's car for a tire repair, return cans, get coffee, bring dogs to kennel and finish packing. You know, all the usual junk before vacation. We did call a couple weeks ago to see if we could get a two bedroom for tonight. They had lots of choices surprising enough(even a THV) We could have switched flights too. My DSIL could not leave early so we never ended up not booking. No problem, we now have today to get everything ready to go.

Here's a picture of one our most favorite spots and drinks. Sorry if your mouth waters looking at these Margarita's overflowing. Yum! DW on left; DSIL on right. DSIL is coming with us and she's a huge WDW fan.

Here's a picture from last year's Wildwood, NJ. We love Wildwood too and last year we vacationed with my sister, parents and a friend of mine from college. It was awesome. Hope we can share DVC with them in future trips.
My DS's girlfriend will not be on this trip. Sad. Won't go there. Far left is youngest DS, next is DD(very excited for WDW), ex-GF, oldest DS, DW(Crazed WDW fan) and Me (just weird)

I don't know what I am going to do without your countdowns. They have been helping me with my own.

We get there on Wednesday to BWV and then head to BLT on Friday. Simply can not wait.

I told my girls today that we would get the suitcases out tomorrow and start packing--just to be sure that we have what we want washed and ready to go.

My DH is not coming this year. Too hot in the summer--his trips will be confined to F & W or January from now on. My DS can't come either so its me and my two DD's, one of my DD's friends, my Aunt, my two cousins, and their DD's. A completely girls trip and looking forward to things. Those margarita's look yummy and are on the list of MUST DO's!!!

I came on disboards this morning specifically to find your last countdown post! I have so enjoyed reading your thoughts and reflections.
Will you be posting a live trip report?

I intend to do a post before I leave. I'm not sure how much I'll post live. I want to do TR with pictures but may be tough with iPad and slow Internet connection. No pressure. I'm going with the flow.

We enjoy Mac's Pizza in Wildwood. DH grew up in Trenton NJ where they originally had a store. Another favorite Jersey Shore Pizza is Maruca's they were, and maybe still are in Seaside and were also in Trenton. My TSC years were filled with great pizzas from Trenton/Hamilton Township NJ!

We never miss a trip to Harry's in middle of boardwalk for stromboli. Yum.
We'll miss Jersey shore. Disney Boardwalk will have to replace for this year.
Oh well.

love wildwood! i used to go there every year as a kid with my babysitter, her husband and their family (babysitter is now in her 80s). we stayed in wildwood crest. the boardwalk was so great, esp in the 80s! when i hear madonna i think of the wildwood boardwalk!

watch the tram car please! - do they still have that??

We stay in Wildwood Crest too.

Hope you have a great trip. We just returned from our Jersey Shore trip, this year we went to LBI for a week and had a fantastic time. We enjoy Wildwood as well, generally we like going further south; Stone Harbor/Avalon, or Cape May, and usually we'll make a few day trips to Wildwood for all the activities.
