Our last day we fliy out at 7:30, so we have the whole day. Our park tickets will be used up with the schedule that we have. You guys have given me so many great ideas for the week, I was hoping for some for our last day. I originally planned breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian and then mini-golf, then the pool before leaving for the airport. Then I was thinking on of the water parks but one of my grandchildren is only 3 and the park might not be good for him. We could always stay at the hotel while the parents of the other grandchildren and the grandchildren go to the park. I was also thinking of SeaWorld if there was some way of getting there from the resort and going to the airport from there. Any suggestions??:confused3

Thanks

think bfst at poly is a good idea..so is mini golf- we like to go to downtown and shop around for some last minute souvenirs and eat..if you have a car..you can spend the whole day in int.drive..go to pointe orlando..bunch of outdoor shops and restaurants..ripleys is also there..have fun!

Well my dd went to Blizzard beach when she was 3 and had a great time.. so I would do that and the breakfast on the last day

Have you planned any time for Downtown Disney? There is a great Lego store as well as the World of Disney store. It's fun to walk around, have an ice cream at Ghirardelli, and look at all the cool Lego creations. Since it would be your last day, you can save your souvenier shopping for then. We usually go to the Christmas store and get personalized ornaments for the upcoming Christmas.

Since you are going to the Poly for breakfast, ride the monorail around to the other resorts. Ask to sit up front (only two or three of you can do that each time) - sometimes the driver will give the kids a button or certificate, but we haven't gotten one. The kids love to ride up front, though!

The pool is always a great idea, except that you will likely have to pack wet suits on the way home!

Go to the AKL and look at the animals. Drive by All Star Movies and look at the giant character icons.

I love the water parks BUT they are exhausting! Not sure how long of a flight you have but I would hate to have over-tired exhausted little ones for the trip home. Unless your little ones are the type that mellow out and fall asleep when they are tired? Not mine!!!

I say go with the breakfast at the Poly. We also love DT Disney on our last day as we do our major souvenir shopping, eat a sundae at Ghiradelli's (sp?), play at Legoland, check out the aquariums at Rainforest Cafe, etc.

Do you have a late check-out at your resort? You could come back and swim at your hotel?

Also check how much it cost to add one more day to your park tickets. if you do MYW, it may cost only a few dollars to add that last day and then have the option of going into the parks if you wish.

A nice breakfast and Downtown Disney would be great!

Water park on the day you leave may not work out well because of the gear you need and as a pp stated, you will be exhusted. You will be packed up and most likely won't want to wear bath suits for your trip home.

Downtown is free. No need to buy more tickets. They have some nice places to grab lunch or a snack.

We we went two years ago... we did the breakfast at the hotel, back to the room to gather are things, then Downtown after check-out, did some shopping, kids played with Legos and on the playground at the big Lego store, and had some lunch . We were down there until about 4PM, then off the hotel to catch our bus to the airport. It worked out very well.

Our last day at Disney is always the same on each and every trip. We do the last breakfast seating at Boma and then hit one of the mini golf courses. After that, we head to DD, shop, let the kids enjoy Disney Quest, have a late lunch at Earl of Sandwich and then by that time we are ready to head to the airport.
