Last Call for an October 17 Meet

Hey, we'd love to have a Meet on October 17 at Universal Studios.

If anyone is going to be around on October 17, please consider meeting up with us!

So far, Barry and I will be there, and possibly DocBosch.

We hope to have a "Ghostbuster Tryout" for Barry's DIS Meets video...come on, you know it'll be fun!


I know that odds are, no one else can meet up, but just thought I'd double check.

What about anyone in the Orlando area? Think you can meet up for a hour or so?

I'll be in Orlando that weekend, but I don't have US/IOS tix. I'll be in the area that night to pick up my daughter from HHN.

CPM - you live and FL and don't have an AP? You need to get it sometime, in cases rare oppurtunities like this p) come up! hehe...I know it's a farther drive for you than me, though.

Ohh, I might go! Since we live only 10-15 away AND have the AP passes, Why not? My daughter is out of school that day and I stay home with my one year old son. So, I will mark my calender! (if you guys dont mind me joining you!)

OH, and I have to say that I FINALLY saw the Ghostbuster show last weekend! We were getting ready to leave the park and the Ghostbuster car stopped on a corner and they started talking with my 6 year old daughter.They said to tell your mommy to come and see the show. So, remembering how you like it soo much (YES! you were on my mind!) We all went over to the show. Best thing I have ever seen! I LOVED IT! I was laughing, clapping and singing along the whole way through. I loved it so much, I made my husband come back with me for the next showing! I think I can get addicted to this show. And I thought the guy in the cowboy hat was the cutest.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that there is now another new Ghostbuster fan out there.

Great to hear Cheryl!!! Definitely wouldn't mind you joining us...and then after our little "Ghostbuster Tryouts," the guys can leave and we can stay to watch the show....


So you drag you husband to the show? LOL My mom would try to do that, but now just let's him go on T2:3D while the two of us go to watch it.

That's what I was wondering about too, Barry. I'm not into the HHN, but if we do have a meet, I may go. I know DocBosch would LOVE it if you have a meet on the 17th since he can't go on the 19th.

3 or 4??? It would HAVE to be 4 shows Barry, there is no way I'm missing any of them.

Barry, it will probably be your call on the HHN. I'll need to know if I should get a ticket too...but the thing is, I may be waiting outside the haunted houses while ya'll go in. Either that, or go on Dr. Doom all night.

I know! I had a major brain cramp and bought WDW passes this year. The DH won't let us get both. Come meet me & Barry at Epcot on Sunday the 19th at noon!
Come January when my WDW passes expire it's all about Us again

I'll do a HHN meet on the 17th if you guys want to, but you don't have to do one for me. I'm counting on being there on the 17th, but it's still quite possible that I may not make it.

You see, I work for the Fort Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival, and the festival technically starts on October 17. I say technically, because the event on the 17th, while a festival event by definition, does not have all the attributes of a regular festival event.

Hence, if this event hadn't been scheduled during the festival time, it would’ve been one of our regular off-season, non-festival events. Hence, it doesn’t require the entire staff and their mothers to be there. Hence, the 17th could be my last official day off before the festival really starts (on the 18th). Hence, I’ve said “hence” a lot.

Though, as time goes by, it could become more of a reality that this non-festival festival event could be construed by the powers-that-be as a non-non-festival festival event, and graduate into a full-festival festival event! And, at that point all those previous "hences" would be null.

So what I'm saying is, while I think I can make it the 17th, there's a chance I can't, but I probably will be able to make it, but it's not definite (though, most likely, I can; but you can never be too sure [cause I may not be able to go, even though I'm almost sure I will]).

Now, that said, if you guys wanted to have a HHN meet on the 17th, and I do make it, than I'll join you, but don't just do it on my account. In fact, if anything, I'll do HHN on the 16th, meet you guys on the 17th, and drive back early, to get ready for the 30 consecutive days of post-HHN horror known as the 18th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival!!!

But, as history has foretold, after those 30 days, on the 17th of November, I will emerge at Universal once again.

I may drop by the 17th but I doubt it since I will have been there Wednesday and Thirsday for HHN. Are you talking about a 17th HHN meet as well or the one on the 19th? I'll be going to the 19th night as originally planned...

Come on and join us Rocketman!!! You live in Orlando...not too far of a drive compared to some of us. And what's wrong with going to Universal 3 days in a row...I would LOVE to have an excuse to do that.

The official HHN meet is on the 19th, but I thought Kevin might want to do the 17th. It doesn't sound like it though. So we'll just do HHN on the 19th.
